here are a choice of prompts

Write a poem (or revise the poem you already wrote)
Try taking on the identity of an idea and giving examples of what your are, example:
"They call me drama" poem
Use the structure:
They call me ______
I'm the...
I'm the...
etc
They call me _______
I'm the ...
I'm the...
etc

Try taking a common story and giving it your own spin, lik ethe Titanic story "and shine swam on"

Try starting your poem with an explicit statement and provide concrete examples like
I'm in love
It's that....kind of love
It's that....kind of love
etc

other prompts:
If you could disguise yourself as someone or something else what would it be? why? what would your day be like? By disguise I don't mean just a costume, I mean no one would be able to recognize you as who you are, you would be that disguise, for example you can be a tree, or a chair, or beyonce, or Obama, or you boyfriend, or your mom, etc

Scary story- write a scary story, try using this beginning and ending prompt
Begin with : "I could hear the ______ (sound) from  the _____(distance) and i knew...
[end with:] "... with a resounding thud on the floor."

Write about a Halloween memory
Maybe the first time you remember trick-or-treating, or the last time you did. Maybe write about the best costume you wore for Halloween. Maybe write about a Halloween tradition you have...
