Below are a few suggestions:

4.Look through the story starters you’ve done in the last 2 weeks (I could tell you about, Diana/John story, Story Grab bag exercises, Piano Man, Picture freewrites, today’s freewrite) pick up to 3 you have written that you think might make a good story
5.In your tables or in groups of 2-4 people – share your possible idea for a story
6. Choose a story idea you started this week that you want to finish(you can continue where you left off)
***Your “complete” story should be 3-5pgs***
Once you’ve chosen, answer the following (these can change as you write your story):

*1-2 sentence summary- what is your story about?
*What is the “inciting incident”?
*What is the main source of conflict?

Friday 2/24
Today is a work day. Please finish your story, have it typed or neatly organized and handwritten. Remember it must be 3-5 p (at least 2 in addition to what was written previously). You can also use this time to make-up any assignments missed – see the assignment sheet. Everything will be due at the end of class.
You should have a MINIMIUM of 13pgs.
